Former Georgia State Rep. Beth Beskin Launches New Talk Radio Program to Discuss Atlanta and Georgia Politics

Former Georgia State Representative Beth Beskin is scheduled to launch a new weekly talk radio show on Saturday, December 4, where she promises listeners a front row seat to Peach State politics.

“Beth has been a relentless fighter for freedom and political accountability in Atlanta,” said WMLB owner and nationally syndicated radio talk show host John Fredericks. “She dared to speak truth to power to Atlanta elites, whether it was insisting Atlanta City Hall abide by its law and rules, running for State Senate against an entrenched entitled incumbent, or fighting for taxpayers as a State Representative.

“Beth pulls no punches.  She has had a front-row seat to Georgia politics and wants to tell her listeners all about it,” Fredericks added.

Beskin served in the Georgia General Assembly from 2015 to 2019. She was the only Republican out of the 236 members who lived within the Atlanta city limits.

CASE

Beskin told The Georgia Star News on Friday that she will produce a show that is both irreverent and analytical; and that focuses on Georgia politics, starting at the Atlanta level, the Metro Atlanta area level, and then statewide.

“I plan for my December shows to focus on the races that are coming up next year as well as legislation that is getting pre-filed for the upcoming legislative session and then during the months of January, February, and March to cover both what’s going on in the General Assembly as well as what’s going on in all the state elections. And when I say state elections, I don’t just mean our constitutional officers, not just statewide elections but, for everybody who serves in the state house or state senate.”

Beskin said she will often broadcast from a home studio in Atlanta, but she also plans to broadcast remotely from other parts of Georgia.

“My show tomorrow is entitled ‘The Long Hello’ and people will have to tune in to find out what I’m talking about there, but I will actually talk about two statewide races coming up,” Beskin said.

The Beth Beskin Show will broadcast live each Saturday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on WMLB AM 1690 in Atlanta. Listeners who reside outside of the Metro Atlanta area may listen by downloading the Freedom WMLB AM 1690 app.
