The Georgia Senate Republican Caucus on Monday seated 16 electors for President Donald Trump, State Senator Brandon Beach (R-GA-Cherokee) told The Georgia Star News.
The seating of the electors is in the event that the U.S. Supreme Court does not certify Georgia for Joe Biden, Beach told The Star News.
John Fredericks, of the John Fredericks Radio Network, also reported on the seating of the Georgia Trump delegates. He tweeted that he heard the news directly from David Shafer, chairman of the Georgia Republican Party. Fredericks also is publisher and editor-in-chief of The Virginia Star, a sister publication to The Star News, and he is a Trump 2020 delegate and the chairman of the Trump Virginia Delegation.

The list of Georgia Trump delegates was certified and sent to Governor Brian Kemp, Beach said.
With Trump and his legal team still fighting election fraud in court, a legal victory is possible, so the Republican Caucus did not want to fail to meet the Electoral College deadline, which was Monday, Beach said.
“We are still fighting; the legal process is still moving forward,” Beach said. “We do feel that there were definitely irregularities in this election.”
Beach pointed to video evidence of suitcases of ballots being counted after hours at State Farm Arena as an example of the election’s problems.
“Whether there was fraud or not — which I believe there was — they broke the law,” Beach said, adding they counted ballots without observers from either party, and no one from the Secretary of State’s Office or the media.
“That leads me to believe there was mischief and shenanigans going on, which led to the fraud.”
