ROSWELL, Georgia – Donald J. Trump officially gave his endorsement to Jake Evans, U.S. House Representative Candidate for Georgia’s 6th congressional District, when he announced late Thursday, “I am honored to give Jake Evans my Complete and Total Endorsement!”
In response to Trump’s endorsement, Jake Evans, current chairman of Georgia’s State Ethics Commission, said, “Thank you President Trump for your endorsement! I will fight for YOU and the America First Agenda. Together, we will DEFEAT Biden, FIRE Pelosi and SAVE America!”
The 45th president’s endorsement of Evans is an important addition to the growing list of current and former officials backing him, which include the former Ambassador to Switzerland, Ed McMullen, the former Ambassador to Israel, David M. Friedman, and the former Ambassador to the Netherlands, Pete Hoekstra.
In his official statement, POTUS 45 called Evans a “young man rapidly on the rise” and stated that “The people of Georgia love him for his strong stance on the Second Amendment, our Military and Vets, Border Protection, Law Enforcement, Pro-Life, and of course, Election Integrity.”
Evans, a conservative attorney and native of Lithia Springs, is also the former Chairman of the Republican National Lawyers Association’s Georgia Chapter. He started his political career by knocking on doors for Newt Gingrich. An alumnus of the University of Georgia, the congressional hopeful commented on the current state of the U.S. dollar’s purchasing power when he called out the incumbent Commander-in-chief, “Joe Biden’s inflation is a tax on every single American family.”
According to his website, Evans has a history of seeking justice for corrupt politicians, “specifically enforcing fines on dark money groups supporting Stacey Abrams, former D.A. Paul Howard, and Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms.”
Evans previously served as the president of the Atlanta Young Republicans and as an attorney has argued before the Supreme Court against government overreach.
In addition to the endorsement from Trump, Jake Evans has also received official endorsements from Newt Gingrich, Sean Hannity, Richard Grenell, Kash Patel, and former National Security Advisor, Robert O’Brien. Congressmen Darrell Issa (CA-50) and Dan Bishop (NC-09) are two current U.S. House Reps that have announced their support of the Georgian as well. Other worthy mentions include Former Rep. Bob Barr (GA-07), former Georgia Speaker, Mark Burkhalter, and best-selling author Nick Adams.
Former President Trump said, “He was born and raised in Georgia, has a wonderful family, and will do a fantastic job as your new Congressman from the 6th District.”
