Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger Calls for Fulton County Officials to Be Fired After Repeated Election Mistakes

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger on Thursday called for two of the top elections officials in Fulton County to be fired after numerous mistakes in the election process have been discovered.

“Fulton County’s continued failures have gone on long enough with no accountability. Rick Barron and Ralph Jones, Fulton’s registration chief, must be fired and removed from Fulton’s elections leadership immediately. Fulton’s voters and the people of Georgia deserve better,” Raffensperger said in a tweet.

The statement from Raffensperger follows a revelation that ballots were scanned multiple times in the recount that followed the November 2020 election.

Further, VoterGa and Garland Favorito, organizers of the lawsuit asking for an audit of the ballots, alleged that of 1,539 batch files containing 100 mail-in ballots each, 923 contained votes incorrectly reported in the official November 3, 2020 results as compared to the reported audit totals.

“The news coming out of Georgia is beyond incredible. The hand recount in Fulton County was a total fraud! They stuffed the ballot box—and got caught. We will lose our Country if this is allowed to stand,” former President Trump said of the news.

While Raffensperger has now called for the firing of the two officials, he has been hesitant to embrace any concerns of election security throughout the state.

Just last month, the secretary of state started an investigation into the missing ballot drop box forms in Fulton County — after multiple reports from The Georgia Star News.

“What prompted the announcement of the investigation was the latest story, but I think investigation was underway even before that point, because we could tell that it was just not up to standards,” Raffensperger’s office told The Epoch Times.

Raffensperger’s hesitancy has drawn criticism from other Republicans — leading to a primary challenge from Rep. Jody Hice (R-GA-10) and others.

    Fired ??

There is more than enough evidence to show that they knowingly corrupted the election.

They need to be investigated and charged with election fraud.

Funny how the sos is showing condemnation after intentional vote tabulation manipulation has been proven. The voters know he been covering for the these criminal election officials for month now. If anybody should be terminated it is him. Georgia voters have lost all faith in this man, and it should be blatantly obvious the 2020 election was not secure and should have never been certified. He’ll the voters of Georgia can’t trust that 2022 will be a legitimate election. Sorry that’s the truth of the matter and nothing is being done to correct it. The reform law that the governor sign into law is not reassuring and will not preventing discrepancy from happening.
