Sen. Klobuchar Blasts ‘Angry, Violent Mob’ in Inauguration Speech

A Minnesota Senator used her inaugural speech to demonize mostly peaceful protestors who occupied the Capitol building in Washington, D.C. on January 6, while simultaneously calling for unity.

“Two weeks ago, when an angry, violent mob staged an insurrection and desecrated this temple of our democracy, it awakened us to our responsibility as Americans,” Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) said, speaking to a sparse crowd. “This is the day when our democracy picks itself up, brushes off the dust, and does what America always does: goes forward as a nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

“Have we become too jaded, too accustomed to the ritual of the passing of the torch of democracy to truly appreciate what a blessing and a privilege it is to witness this moment? I think not,” she said.

Klobuchar made her inaugural remarks just months after violent riots across America perpetrated by the radical far left, which left at least 25 people dead. Neither Klobuchar, nor her Democrat counterparts, condemned those deadly riots at the time.

She also made a subtle dig at former president Donald J. Trump, suggesting that American democracy was hanging by a thread during his four-year term in office.

“We pledge today never to take our democracy for granted, as we celebrate its remarkable strength,” she said. “We celebrate its resilience, its grit.”

At the same time, though, she claimed that President Joe Biden will unite Americans, and help us come together as a nation.

“We celebrate a new president, Joe Biden, who vows to restore the soul of America, and cross the river of our divides to a higher plane,” she said.

After Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were sworn in, Biden gave his own inaugural address. He discussed the ongoing threats of “a democracy under attack, a raging virus, growing inequity, the sting of systemic racism,” and “a climate in crisis.”

Amy who? Just another one of the people who couldn’t get even an ember of support going as a Presidential candidate. But what a good little attack dog!

The Democrats AND the establishment Republicans are afraid! They know that they lost the legitimate popular vote by a landslide. They know that the enthusiasm and support for what President Trump did for the average American is in the stratosphere. They will now get “all hands on deck” in the attempt to further vilify us Trump-supporters. There’s only one problem.

The more that they do it, the more adamant “We the People” get and the more arduously we will will stand up to them! Let the games begin!
