Welcome to the Saturday edition of our daily Virginia Trump campaign update! We will provide our readers with daily updates on the Trump Virginia campaign from today to November 3 (and after…if need be!).
It’s officially 15 days until the election on November 3 – and 12 days until early voting in Virginia closes. President Trump meets Joe Biden in the final presidential debate THIS THURSDAY. The deadline to request a mail-in ballot in Virginia is Friday, October 23.
While many observe July 4 as America’s Independence Day, for obvious reasons, the ensuing war against Great Britain for independence went on another five years. It was on this day 239 years ago that General Cornwallis formally surrendered 8,000 British troops in Yorktown, Virginia, bringing an end to the Revolutionary War.
President Trump continues to hit the campaign trail as we approach two weeks before the polls close in the 2020 presidential election. Early voting is ongoing in states across the country, with some states opening early voting this week. Early voting opens today in Alaska and Arkansas.
The president continues to hit the campaign trail. He spoke at rallies in Wisconsin and Nevada over the weekend, states the president’s re-election campaign views as pivotal to beating Democrat Joe Biden. Today President Trump will address two rallies in Arizona, on Tuesday he’ll speak in Erie, Pennsylvania and on Wednesday he’ll speak at a rally in Gastonia, North Carolina.
It all sets the stage for the final presidential debate between President Trump and Joe Biden from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee on Thursday night. Kristen Welker, White House correspondent for NBC will moderate.
In Virginia the Team Trump Virginia campaign will hold watch parties throughout the commonwealth for the debate. Keep it tuned to the TRUMPDATE for all the details about where you can go to watch.
But the Team Trump Virginia team continues to make contact with voters, making sure they are going to the polls, whether it be now or on November 3, and that they’re voting for Republicans up and down the ballot.
