In episode 31 of his newest production, “Tucker on X,” host Tucker Carlson continued his conversation with GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy about the next steps forward for the United States amid Hamas’ terrorist attack on Israel on October 7.

Ramaswamy appeared on episode 29 of Carlson’s show, arguing that going to war would not be in America’s best interest, noting that the United States is susceptible to the same kind of attack Israel experienced earlier in October.
Ramaswamy received criticism for his remarks following last week’s interview with Carlson, with some calling him “pro-Hamas” who “doesn’t believe in Israel’s right to self-defense.”
During Wednesday’s episode, Ramaswamy defended his America-First stance, saying as a presidential candidate, he is looking at the issue at hand from an American perspective. He said he thinks it is reasonable to question what response would produce the best result for the U.S. and Israel.
Ramaswamy discussed Israel’s imminent ground invasion into Gaza, saying the nation must lay out a list of “clearly defined objectives,” or it would start “another no-win war that is not good for Israel and not good for the United States.”
The presidential hopeful said one example of an “achievable win” for both Israel and the U.S. in response to the terrorist attack would be to put the heads of the “top 100 in Hamas” on stakes lining the southern border of Israel with Gaza.
Ramaswamy said this idea would be a “clearly defined objective” to “achieve the actual retribution and justice that needs to be exacted in this situation.”
“Kill the people who did it,” Ramaswamy said. “It is proper, it is just, it is morally justified…This is Israel defending itself as it has the right to do and punishing the people who actually did it.”
“U.S. leaders should act in the U.S. national interest. And the fact that that’s become controversial, I think, shows how far our foreign policy establishment has come. There’s a better way to do this,” Ramaswamy said.
As of press time, the latest installment of Carlson’s video podcast, posted at 9:14 p.m. Central Standard Time on Wednesday, had over 29 million views. The 31 episodes posted by @TuckerCarlson have been seen over well over 2 billion times on Twitter / X.
