Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene Suggests She’s Being Spied On Through her TV at DC Residence

Georgia U.S. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA-14) suggested this week that somebody attempted to spy on her through a television in her Washington D.C. residence.

On Sunday, Greene tweeted, “Last night in my DC residence, the television turned on by itself and the screen showed someone’s laptop trying to connect to the TV.”

Greene went on to add that she is “very happy,” “very healthy,” and does not have “anything to hide.”

“Just for the record: I’m very happy. I’m also very healthy and eat well and exercise a lot. I don’t smoke and never have. I don’t take any medications. I am not vaccinated. So I’m not concerned about blood clots, heart conditions, strokes, or anything else. Nor do I have anything to hide,” Greene continued.

“I just love my country and the people and know how much they’ve been screwed over by the corrupt people in our government and I’m not willing to be quiet about it, or willing to go along with it,” the Georgia congresswoman added.

Greene then posted a link to a CBS news article detailing a 2019 consumer warning from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) regarding smart TVs being used by cybercriminals to spy on individuals.

The outlet cited a warning from the bureau released just before the 2019 Black Friday holiday shopping weekend that read, “Beyond the risk that your TV manufacturer and app developers may be listening and watching you, that television can also be a gateway for hackers to come into your home.”

In addition to her latest tweet alleging that she has been the victim of spying, Greene has been swatted at least six times since assuming office in 2021. So far, no one has been arrested for the incidents.
