Sarah Silverman, Patton Oswalt, and Other Leftist Comedians to Host Fundraiser for Georgia Candidate Jon Ossoff

Four left-wing Hollywood comedians, including Sarah Silverman and Patton Oswalt, are scheduled to host a virtual fundraiser for U.S. Senate candidate Jon Ossoff.

This, according to The Hill, which reported that Silverman, Oswalt, Dulce Sloan, and Sarah Cooper will host this “Riffing for the Georgia Runoffs” event on December 18.

Members of the Georgia Republican Party, in an emailed press release, described Ossoff as a socialist and the four comedians as “out -of-state liberal elites.”

“This should come as no surprise given Ossoff has received 86 percent of his campaign contributions from out-of-state, and Californians have been ‘flocking’ to Georgia in an effort to provide enthusiasm for Ossoff that he cannot seem to find with actual voters in the state,” according to the Georgia GOP press release.

CASE

The Hill’s report also comes on the heels of a slew of high profile radical liberals ‘rolling out the red carpet’ for Ossoff as he’s ‘embraced’ Bernie Sanders and his dangerous agenda.”

Silverman has a history of using her Twitter feed to hurl profanities at U.S. President Donald Trump.

As reported, U.S. Sen. David Perdue (R-GA) and U.S. Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA), are on the January 5, 2021 ballot for the U.S. Senate against Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, respectively.

As The Georgia Star News reported this month, U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) endorsed Ossoff and Warnock to represent Georgia in the U.S. Senate.

“We’re all working as hard as we can to make sure that the two Democratic candidates win in Georgia,” Sanders, a socialist, said on MSNBC.

“Those two elections will clearly have a profound impact on everybody in our country.”

On CNN, Ossoff embraced Sanders.

“I welcome his support,” Ossoff said.

“Again, look, I think that his advocacy for ensuring that health care is a human right in this country is welcome, is necessary, is appreciated. And so is his support.”

Also, as The Georgia Star News reported, U.S. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA-12) held a virtual fundraiser Monday for Ossoff and Warnock.
