TRUMPDATE: Latest From the Team Trump Virginia Campaign for October 8

President Donald Trump

Welcome to the Thursday edition of our daily Virginia Trump campaign update! We will provide our readers with daily updates on the Trump Virginia campaign from today to November 3 (and after…if need be!).

It’s officially 26 days until the election on November 3 – and 23 days until early voting in Virginia closes. The deadline to register to vote in time for the 2020 election is October 13, six days from today.

President Trump remained at the White House in Washington on Wednesday, as Vice President met Democratic nominee Kamala Harris in the first and only debate between the two candidates.

As part of “Operation MAGA” the Trump-Pence campaign will resume in-person campaign events following the debate, as the president continues to recover from COVID-19.

President Trump has come out and said that he is pushing for all Americans to receive the same drug treatment he received while suffering from coronavirus.

In Virginia the drive to Election Day carries on, and Trump Team Virginia will remain hard at work in the final few weeks of the campaign.

Coming up this Saturday, the Greene County Republican Committee will be holding its 41st annual pig roast. The event will begin at noon and will take place at October Hill Farm. Because of the ongoing pandemic, there will be food trucks versus the traditional roasting and cutting up of the pig. Attendees can also look for speeches from candidates at the state and federal level, as well as remarks from John Fredericks, host of The John Fredericks Show and chairman of the Trump Virginia Delegation.

And also on Saturday, the Young Republican Federation of Virginia will welcome former Senior Adviser to President Trump, and host of War Room Pandemic, Steve Bannon at an event at Madison on Madison Hill (323 N Madison Rd., Orange, VA 22960). Mr. Bannon has spoken at length about plans by the Democrats to steal the 2020 election. This is your chance to hear more about that plan and how you can work to ensure a fair election on November 3. You can register for tickets to the event here.
